When Nashville comes to mind, you might see the Honky Tonk Highway lit up with neon lights, seas of people swirling out of bars along the block and the live music spilling out on the streets.

But what about the hours before the party starts? What do people do in Nashville in the morning?

Turns out, there are a ton of activities to do before the sun starts making its descent and the shenanigans on Broadway begin. Below are ways to kick off your day in Nashville!

Sightseeing Before the Crowds

  • Breakfast at Loveless Cafe - this Nashville landmark opens early (7 or 8am depending on the day) and serves a hearty Southern breakfast. Elvis, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton are said to have eaten at this roadside stop off the Natchez Trace Parkway.

  • Morning stroll to Centennial Park - Grab a cup of coffee to-go and let the paths wind you around the duck pond and to the Parthenon replica.

  • Nashville Farmers' Market - Browse fresh produce, fresh pastries and local goods in peace at the typically-bustling-later-in-the-day farmer's market

  • Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (opens at 9am!) - Be one of the first through the doors to explore the exhibits before the tour groups arrive!

Nashville Pedal Tavern

Nashville Pedal Tavern with people riding
  • Be the first 9:50am reservation for the Nashville Pedal Tavern!

  • See more Nashville landmarks and attractions by pedaling through less congested streets around Broadway

  • Start the day on the right foot by stretching out the legs, getting a little movement in, rehydrating with some electrolytes (or cracking open an adult beverage as a hair of the dog) to start your day in Music City.

Detox to Retox with Bevē Curated

  • Whether you're riding the 'Hangover Express or looking to 'Namaste and Nespresso', reserve a Bevē Bus first thing to begin your morning with fun (and revival!).

  • Itineraries can include going to get cofee (Frothy Monkey for Golden Monkey Latté), geting some much-needed hydration (IntraVenous Solutions - IV Bar for the "Get Up and Go"), a stop to see the ducks at Lake Watauga and then dropped off at The Butter Milk Ranch, where you'll have already been added to the waitlist to be seated.

For those that may be in rough shape from a night of rallying, below are places to rehydrate and replenish your body in the morning so you're ready for another day on the town.
